Beneath Our Atmosphere

A Short Series of Haikus

By Robyn WelbornePublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Beneath Our Atmosphere

(haiku hour):

I. Aether's Night Owl:

Heavy wings flapping

over the Earth's atmosphere;

our Guardian seeks.

II. Lone-wolf Demons:

Shrouded by dark clouds,

becoming invisible

away from His sight.

III. Howlings' Liberty:

Beneath the shallows,

mercenaries of freedom;

Aether's bodyguards.

IV. Capture Me Not:

Escaping His wrath

of eternal damnation

cowering in sins.

V. Center of the Earth:

The blue night goes still,

turning on fiery ends;

Hell's Gates melt open.

VI. Returning Home:

Gatherings flourish,

banishing unholy beasts

to our center's core.
