Silent, yet I hear the world's song

In the quiet, my heart beats strong

With hands as my ears, I feel the vibrations

And in the rhythm, my soul finds liberation

I feel the beat of drums and the bass guitar

The vibrations of footsteps, near and far

I feel the rhythm of the raindrops falling

And the hum of the earth, calling

I see the world in a different light

Through touch, and taste, and sight

And though I cannot hear, I know the world is rich

For in my other senses, it is never glitch

I may be deaf, but my mind is open wide

And in this life, I will not hide

For I know that true hearing is not just with the ears

But in the way we feel, and sense, and truly hear.
