Behold The First

Subtle hints escape the room

A whisper of something unholy and true

Such an odor, like sweet permeating perfume

Each time it entered, none knew what to do

---

From the moment of creation

Rotting out all it laid flesh upon

Wrecked as many a nation

To own the throne it spent eternity on

---

Aged beyond the imaginations of man

But such beauty never seen before by their weak eyes

Golden haired with a deep and unrelenting tan

Inside the allure, it does nothing but despise

---

Fondness for nothing but the power and worship

Demanding of everything it sees

Such a mind holds onto the weak with an iron grip

As its followers eagerly drop to their knees

---

Blood sacrifices

Taking the lands of the meek

Appealing to the powerful through such vices

Proving that even the strongest of them she would seek

---

Unto none she did bow down

And carried with her the darkness of hell

Where even she could burn every new town

And upon the bones beneath her feet, never did she dwell

---

Amass such strength and influence

Taking not of prisoners for her delight

The first offered no recompence

Only feeding on the poor souls within her sight

---

The greatest mistakes started in the beginning of time

And this was one made by the lord almighty himself

For when she left, had he begun again would have been fine

If only he'd left the first one sitting on a dusty old shelf

---

But to let it grow and fester in the bowels of all that was primordially wrong

Such an error one would not imagine having been done by the one

And upon her return, all will feel her presence and hear the final gong

For at the end, it'll be the vile Lilith that has ultimately won
