What's behind them is the question of the day

What is it that you see that turns them red with anger

Is it all the wrong that you have done just to have your sick, twisted fun

What's behind them that empowers you to be

What's behind them that turns them dark around the edges

What is it making them so weary

Is it all the wrong that you have done, just to have your sick, twisted fun

What's behind them that leaves you feeling this way

What's behind them that makes them so sharp and edgy

Is it all the memories that we will never understand, not as we planned

Is it all the wrong that you have done, just to have your sick, twisted fun

What pains you so that leaves you who you are

What's behind them that makes you burn things at both ends

What is it making you stand in the midst of the fires as they consume your soul

Is it all the wrong that you have done, just to have your sick, twisted fun

Is it what you know that we never will

What's behind them that makes you smile

Is it something you can describe in this next mile

Is it all the wrong that you have done, just to have your sick, twisted fun

What is it that you remember in that twisted mind so vile
