Bite my lips,

recalling words

thrown at my back;

piercing as snake bites-

Moments notice,

filled with anxiousness;

like entering a snakes den,

clearly innocences

has no place here—

My unburdened heart

is fully convinced

So-called friends

filled the room

Jonesing for rock-solid connections

unlike a temple of doom

With all these snakes around me

Partially, parched, python

ENVY

in their eyes darker than Viridian

glossolalia,grueling, grasping

Saying I seducing ya

Call me medusa

Stone- faced liar!

Glaring with

ouroboros irises

like auroral rings

in a night sky...

Rolling my eyes,

like dice

outcome snake eyes

Unreliable inner-circle

US

going round in circles

DETACHING

my dignity is never served

on a silver platter!

Holding up my own head,

hissing at mindlessness;

Spew cheapen words

Offense taken-

my kind-heart-(not a play thing)

my tongue sharp, boneless

as venomous

as the black mamba-

You’re no longer needed

Soaring above this

like a Pegasus;

Shedding the weight

of your expectations—

This momma’s got fangs

Wishful instantaneous death

Immortalized in ink

For all to see,

truest colors,

always bleed through...
