Behind Closed Doors

The walls you've made me build.

By Jessa MaePublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

When I see your face

I can’t help but fill up with pain.

My pain is measured in anger,

And washed away by the rain.

I try my best to forget the past,

but that is far too hard,

because the scars don’t fade at all, they last,

and remind me of what I lost.

This pain is not able to be measured.

This is a time of sadness

That is not ready to be treasured.

Being full of loneliness

cannot make me cry anymore.

Not seen by anyone, including you,

Is what's behind closed doors,

what you have done.
