VERSE 1

It looks prolific now, but it’s the life I never told,
Sixty‑six years in boxes, pages waiting to unfold.
Every line unfinished, every truth I tried to hide,
Now I’m pulling all the pieces back from where they lived inside.

VERSE 2

I spend twelve hours daily with my fingers on the keys,
Burning through the stories like a fire in the leaves.
Trying to gather every version of the woman I became,
Before I cross the veil and leave this world without my name.

CHORUS

I’m writing for the girl I was, the young one full of fight,
The mother and the grandmother who held the world at night.
The daughter who kept trying, and the lover who believed,
The human who kept living through the losses she received.
I’m racing time to save it all before the light grows pale,
Trying to finish every word before I cross the veil.

VERSE 3

I’m not chasing any glory, I’m just trying to make it whole,
Every chapter of my lifetime, every fragment of my soul.
I’m stitching back the memories that the years began to steal,
So the story of my living stands as something true and real.
