Gathering good

Bee banded in black and yellow

Buzzes by lacey white flowers,

Lush pink blooms and

Prickly purple plants.

Dandelions, soft as clouds

And bright as the sun,

Scent tease the bee,

"Shouting, "here, here, here!"

Bee heavy with the daily take,

Uses blue sky to travel home,

Dances the flower map, to share

The trail to tasty gold.

About the Creator

Terry Roe

Some people paint, others dance, and happy people sing. Writing is the white space that allows me to color some moods, move some thoughts, and hum some tunes.
