Because of men

Who cares about men?!

Who cares that the suicide rate of men is three times that of a woman?

Or that men get hurt too and we, sometimes desperately, want a hug or someone to talk to when we’re hurt

My wife is unhappy so she can take half of what I own, the dog and the kids even though I’ve been working constantly six and seven days a week just to pay a ridiculous amount of child support,

And the judge won’t listen because I make sixty thousand a year and a newly single man should be able to take care of his kids and estranged wife, right?

Even though, after a month she’s with another man

So again I ask, who cares about men?

For men?

Every Christmas we get socks, shirts, underwear or ties and have to pretend like we’re happy with it but shoe on the other foot,

A five thousand dollar ring, two hundred dollar shoes and the most expensive gifts men can find,

We’re lousy and deadbeats if we don’t do that for our wives, even though we aren’t living or lives but hell, who cares about men?

Happy life, happy wife right?

Men could be, most likely will be, lying on our deathbeds, almost dead, brain dead and left for dead

Then everyone wants to pretend as if they care

As if they really have a damn about us or what was going on with us

We’re punks for going to therapists

We’re weak if we cry or complain about our lives

Men aren’t allowed to me hurt

Men aren’t allowed to be tired,

Broke,

Hungry or anything

Hell, men aren’t even allowed to be men

We drink,

We smoke and we hold in our emotions because if we talk about them…

Men are worthless,

Men aren’t nothing more than a foot rug for everyone else to step on and throw around like a rag doll

No matter how hard we try,

We will never be men just because society won’t let us

Who cares about men, anyway?
