As courageous as rain
With the tenacity to fall

With its strong, vivacious rays

The one they wish will never go

As wise as moon
With its quiet, knowing gaze
Because I know
No matter how often I’m overlooked
I am the one that actually stays
The one who sees it all
Because I know
No matter how much we wish
We can’t be all
That we want to be
That we must be content
With who we already are
