Frustrating and Fruitful we’ll never figure it out.
How does it sit there without any doubt;
I wonder how it feels, and what it thinks?
The beauty of the moon,
Oh, what a Beautiful Moon!
What fragrance does it give?
Once the Moon comes out,
There’s no Light of the night to replace it;
It’s Never too Dark but it’s always far…
Feeling like a Child as I scrutinize the Moon, Sparkling just like a white Star!
The Moon shine Bright to light my Night;
There’s no changing the Moonlight!

I've always loved the moon, whether the thinnest of sliver, bright full & glorious, or within the fiery orange of complete eclipse. Once I was driving from Kansas City to the Black Hills to meet a youth group for a ski trip. Shortly after turning west on I-90, just north of Sioux Falls, the moon sank into total eclipse. I don't know if you've ever been to South Dakota, but crossing the border from Iowa on I-29 is like turning out the lights. There is very little ambient light to hinder the shining of either moon or stars. It's glorious! Perhaps not quite so as staring into the night sky atop a mountain in Colorado, Wyoming or Montana, but still glorious. I positioned my rear view mirrors & watched it for the better part of 300 miles. What a night! Just one editorial note: In the sentence, "It’s Never to Dark but it’s always Far…," unless you intend to convert "dark" into a verb, I'm guessing you intended "too".

Here's another one that flows with a music of its own. "Beautiful Moon" seems to have a more complex structure to it though, kind of old-style Classical in the sense of complex shifts in melody rather than rhythm. This is beautiful and just a little more whimsical for you Lonzo. (And that's saying a lot!) I very much enjoyed it!! 🎈🎈🎈 Is it pointing to new directions?
