Painting the world in magical splendor
Talents ever present, everywhere, for all to see
Art at it's best, on display. Free...to entice and titillate
Look closely, each raw talent is unique and special
A masterpiece of individuality and personalized language
The senses come alive, sights and imagination ignited
So enlightening these free flying souls, so gifted and generous
Common yet so uncommon in many different ways
Though they take dangerous chances, not everyone appreciates
The heart and message which cries out to be heard and seen
I find such beauty and longing within the art of these free spirited souls
Puts me in touch with my inner demons, what demons drive their creativity?
I frequently wonder, as I view each masterpiece. We all have demons
Good, bad and indifferent ones. Artistic demons though are food for the soul
Found in every beautiful created artform, strewn across earth's landscape.
Truth hurts!

My To Be Read List
I have been taking some time away from writing. I haven't forgotten about Vocal, the truth is I just have been too busy pursuing other things to write online and honestly, my little family and I just had a really hard month between the flu and a weird eye infection/cold circulating our house. I think my favourite line from this piece is "artistic demons though are food for the soul!" I love how powerful your art form and words are! There's something about the way you put words together that just emirates the passion you feel as you write! What a wonderful way to express yourself!
