Beach days still ahead.

Bright and sunny.

It was the beginning of the prelude to summer,

The gloom in the sky and where it tread,

Days that paced by like a sprinting runner,

Where winter had been, instead.

The sound of roaring waves,

The touch of sand and sea,

The feeling of my hands upon her waist,

The hope for what would be,

With many days still left for us to enjoy,

Quickly taken with such surprise!

I delight to see her smile,

As I look into her eyes,

She’s a keeper, that’s for certain,

None better to surely reach,

The days with my beloved,

Well spent upon the beach.
