Be The Light

A Poem

I walk with pockets full of light

A quiet glowing flame

A spark that travels miles

If I refuse to guard my flame

šŸ’›

It can slip into the hands of those

whose days feel cold or thin

A joy that can grow louder

every time you choose to let it in

šŸ’›

Some hearts move heavy through the world

Their colors tucked away

But kindness is a lantern

One small light can change a day

šŸ’›

Laughter is sometimes buried deep

beneath the weight of what you've known

but when we lift each other up

No one has to walk alone

šŸ’›

I've learned that brightness isn't loud

It's steady, soft, and true

It's offering your warmth to someone

who is hurt or passing through

šŸ’›

It's choosing hope when shadows rise

and refusing to retreat

until their inner candle wakes

and rises to its feet

šŸ’›

So, let's choose to be a lighthouse

when the world feels dark and wide

for every soul we help to shine

stands taller at our side

šŸ’›

We can be a glowing guide for anyone

whose spirit's lost its sight

because every lifted heart becomes

another source of light

šŸ’›

We're meant to glow together here

to share the fire that we hold

A single flame can warm the world

when multiplied tenfold

šŸ’›

Let's scatter joy like seeds

across the corners of the earth

because love that's freely given

is of immeasurable worth

šŸ’›
