with the person in the mirror
who has been through so much
but is still standing”
This is a lovely quote.
We are often so busy
looking after others
and ‘praising’
and loving them,
that we completely forget
about ourselves
and that we need
to be loved and praised too.
But not just by others
but by ourselves too.
We need to learn
to love ourselves.
We also have been through
many things
and we also deserve
Respect,
not just from others but
also from ourselves.
When you look in the mirror,
“who”
do you see?
This very Special person
who has been through so much in life
but who is still here,
standing
in front of the mirror.
You should be
Proud of yourself.
You should
Love yourself.
Afterall,
I’m sure your loved ones and your friends
Love you
and are Proud of you.
