Be Light

I want to feel light as a feather

untroubled by rainy weather

just like a tree; roots strong, planted deep

barely a rustle from the leaves

Out and about with others

enjoying my space in time, while time and space combine

bliss dancing from my lips as I sing songs from my heart

the joy of existing apart from that which keeps me in cyclical ways

Truth be told, I've dreamt of lighter days

that is how I know they are here, waiting for me to choose

but first I must release
