Be in the Hunt

Showing Up No Matter the Circumstances

By Heather KasparPublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

Be in the Hunt

Some days it’s a gentle breeze.

On another day, the wind is so cold and sharp it’s chapping your face and causing your eyes and nose to drain.

Yet another, scorching and still.

The rhythm remains the same.

You’ve studied its patterns.

You’ve considered the probabilities and possibilities.

And you come and sit and wait.

You honor the reverence of creation.

You sit, even though it may never come.

You sit, knowing how intelligent it is.

You sit, knowing any number of obstacles can stop you from your goal.

You prepare.

You train.

You put in the effort.

Gather the intel.

Enjoy or endure your sitting conditions.

Most importantly, you go.

The only way to be in the hunt is to go.

The discipline increases the probability.

Your reverence brings it honor.

Be in the hunt.

But taking action makes it possible.
