I didn't care if the sun rose the next day

& it didn't take long for you to notice

To take advantage

To reel me in & cast me out

To leave me open wounded

Still I only blamed myself

Surely I must just not be good enough

I must be doing something wrong

It's my fault

I took whatever bone you`d throw me

Like a horrible spell you had over me

& in my shaded mind

I thought this was love

Life laughed as it gave me
