Be?

Me?

By Jacquez HardyPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Be.

Who am I? Who is me?

Do I follow them, do I be the

stereotypical version of what is perceived

to be me. Not the

person I know is me...

Who do I be?

Your.

To be like this and be like that

You have to own this and have to own that.

Cop the new look, rock the new fad.

But your own flavor you lack.

Generally Generic. What a shame is that?

Self.

Peering through the elusive,

exclusive self abusive,

intrusive and reclusive,

mentality staring back at you.

What do you see?

Who are you? Who is me?

Are you who your souls screams

for you to be?

Or do you stare into the mirror,

gazing at a different entity,

created by the destructive divinity

of what people tell you that you should be?

Are you blind? Or do you see?
