Once upon A Full Moon night

I dreamed the sun and moon were in a fight

The Sun said, “I bring all things to sight I bring blue skies and clouds of white

In my light roses and carnations bloom and butterflies take flight

None of which are to be seen in the dead of night”

The Moon said, “All those things are nice…

but as Byron says, your light is gaudy

I see clouds and flowers, and yet not even one other heavenly body

In my light Heaven reveals itself in all its glory

Under my light is where Van Gogh paints his stories

I am the light of lovers and romantics where dreams are made and passion practiced”
