If you were bathed in darkness
Drenched in pain and anguish
Do not let it grip you
But rather, fight to grip back
Learn from it
Craft with it
Stretch its dark tendrils into something
That can help yourself and others
Just be careful not to weave it
Around your own heart
For there it will stay and blacken you
Irreparably
And you will forget how to live
Without darkness in your heart
