barbed border refrain

🖤

the jungle fights back, river 2025

we carved you with our barbed border lines,

sorry does not cover the regret;

our shallow fixes merely stretch these dying times.

you melt and twist, cruel punishment for the crimes;

controlled no more, on our knees we’ve wept;

we carved you with our barbed border lines.

our slow death, stark reminders these are borrowed times;

sorry does not cover the regret;

our shallow fixes merely stretch these dying times.

you shake and drown, punishment for our crimes;

our victims are not only those who live inside our times;

we carved you with our barbed border lines.

we did not know will never cover the regret;

you melt and twist, our punishment for our crimes;

our shallow fixes merely stretch these dying times.

our veins collapse — just punishment for our crimes;

broken bodies rise; our own body count climbs;

we carved you with our barbed border lines,

our shallow fixes merely stretch these dying times.
