I was your experiment

Your trial run

You quit me before you had to subscribe

You say I should be grateful I’m alive

Perhaps I should

Perhaps I could

If you didn’t make me feel dead inside

You said you tried

You said you did your best

But now I see you lied

Now that I have my own pancakes

I see the lack of effort

Your selfish ways

Of slathering me in syrup

Just to leave me dry on other days
