A bad dog, a naughty hound
With mischief in his soul, he bounds
He chews on shoes and gnaws on chairs
He leaves a trail of destruction everywhere
He barks at night and howls at noon
His energy seems never to swoon
He digs up gardens and tears up plants
Leaving chaos in his wake, he chants
But still, he wags his tail with glee
A loyal friend, he'll always be
Though he may cause us strife and stress
His love for us is endless, nonetheless
So let us forgive his mischievous ways
And cherish him for all his doggy days
For even in his naughty deeds
He brings us joy, and that's all we need.
