Bad addiction

“It feels good, but it’s killing me slowly.”

By willow urbanPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

My addiction to weed has gotten worse,

I crave it now with no remorse.

People tell me to take it slow,

But all I do is smoke and smoke—

Until there’s nothing left to breathe,

Until I’m numb, until I’m free.

It’s not for fun, not what I choose,

But it’s the only way to lose

The pain that lingers deep inside,

The hurt I’d rather try to hide.

No more pain, no need to feed,

No more sorrow—no more weed.
