Back on Vocal in July
No Internet Means No New Stories From Me for Awhile
Poem
Leaving on a trip via
Auto, train, boat, and plane
Will see Vocalites in July -
maybe sooner, contingent
on whether there’s any signal.
Roaming outside the network
makes me mostly
incommunicado.
I’ll relax, eat, and sleep
See new sights with
No email or phone calls.
No computer or iPad.
A cellphone without wifi
is not a full pocket computer.
June will slide into July,
before I can be regularly connected.
I’ll return, reset, and be refreshed,
ready to enter some challenges.
Will then write a poem or two,
most likely haikus
of nature's brilliance
and many hues.
Note: Will be off Vocal for a while due to distant travel… so won't be reading, writing online, or contributing until I return, Vocal Creators.
