There is a viridian green, alien sized hole in you
shaped like the opposite of childhood
denser every day, of course
glimmers only in the light.
If she’s here, and you know she is
where are your own precious organs?
that baby spreads like ink, that baby never thinks
she’ll make it hers forever
when she slips out of a mother and into a world.
Have you wasted it? That big gift
your innocence, your ignorance
which mostly resembled a storm.
You believe there is little to learn from the young about love
yet heaven is tragic because it’s clear they don’t have parties.
Wake up now or grow up soon, babies don't raise babies.
