The illusion of deathlessness

The tower was built

having one single language

a few lonely trees

they straightened their leaves like green eyes

to see better the rise of the tower

those who previously shaped bricks

now they were creating new words and putting them on top of each other

these words

they could be heard and they could be spoken

some people boasted of seeing them

they did not have an exact shape

but the wings of the new words were clearly visible

the new words

they hurried to fly to the sky

the tower soundless and motionless

looking towards one single point

the illusion of deathlessness

from that language

others would show

starting to circle

in a clockwise direction
