D i s s o n a n c e.
The air felt off.
S h i v e r.
Her spine recalled something she didn't.
R e c o i l.
The past came too close.
F o r g o t t e n.
Names dissolved before they reached her lips.
W e i g h t.
It wasn't the dress, it was the rest.
C r a c k.
Something within her gave way.
F r a c t u r e.
Not loud. Just enough.
W i t h e r.

A s h.
That's what all warmth reduced to.
M e l o d y.
A sound she once was.
D r i f t.
She no longer walked, she wandered.
U n r a v e l.
Even her silence unraveled.
T h r e s h o l d.
There's always a line, even in mist.
S h a d o w.

B e c o m e.
Not who she was. Who she had to be.
S i l e n c e.
Not empty. Just full of things that never left.
