Awakening A Future King
Poetic awakening of a future king who's lineage still reigns in the North since times past
Sleeping deeper than rotting logs,
Snoring greater than volcanic bogs.
Covered in ice from head to toe,
Waiting for spring to thaw the snow.
Quiet and peaceful within his fervent dream,
Furry and burly this king will reigns supreme.
Sensing springs call awakens his fervor,
To eat all things to sate his hunger.
Learning from the best he makes his merry way,
Following his mothers actions to learn by day.
The lands renewed acknowledge their future king,
By provided him teachings in natures fine dining.
Berries and roots are quite often the main course,
But today mother provides a brand new source.
Buzzing in the trees is a sweet new sensation,
That all kings desire with grand elation.
With one mighty push the table is brought down,
The king rushes forward as happy as a clown.
He digs right in and enjoys the spoils,
Angering his mother who raises and broils.
Quickly he moves and gives what is due,
For he still must learn, "it isn't just you".
The king will soon grow and earn his right place,
But for right now he is just a really cute face.
