Autumn Time
A poem

Autumn time—
leaves of yellow, orange,
red, and rust,
floating, twirling in the wind,
falling like confetti.
They are not ordinary,
but worthy of attention.
We owe ourselves,
the privilege,
of watching the falling leaves.
Viewed through the lens of
mindfulness and gratitude,
they are blessings.
Gaze at them admiring,
catch them in your palms.
Pile them up and play,
acknowledge them,
bask in their splendor.
Learn the life philosophy of 'Let Go',
and to live in harmony,
as per the changing season,
with grace, endurance,
and faith of renewal in heart.
It is fleeting, transient,
only limited autumns
in a mortal life,
after all.
