Autumn's Rupture

Uncoupling

The glow

pushes through a dying red maple

Those fiery leaves

spiral towards the green ground

cool

like the falling of us

So delicate, so quiet

skilled in whisper

in energy transposition

The shift is here

it calls

through the ruffling of those red leaves

The Mother knows,

she senses it

like the ticking in the blue tide

The seduction of the violet Moon

bewitches you

draws you away

naturally

Our yellow light dims

as those buds grow

The red maple awakens

ignites, orange

during the flush of mourning light

nature poetry
