I can’t trust this place

Made too many mistakes

So I stay inside

Trying to hide

awaiting rescue

from the darkness

Outside

the accumulation

of devastation

from a three decade fall

Leaves me

Drowning in litter

Plaguing the hall

I can’t get out

alone

I can’t get out

at all
