I've become addicted to words
One after another
They form their bond
And leave me speechless in their wake
I play God
With words so powerful
Like a field of bloodied soldiers
They take their place for battle
Knowing me, one word and
All its meaning taken away
In the blink of an eye
A word can die
And leave remnants on your heart
I am addicted to words
Addicted to reeling you in
The tragedies of my own mind
A battle my whole soul is in
