Aurum Soul

Fuel my blood

By Oscar LiPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Ichor fountains feed freely

To crystallize a jaded valley

Rising up to a view of peachy reverence

Irradiating my vermilion overtness

.

A palette makes a focal point.

.

Fill these soles with celadon sand

So I may solidify like wind

Brace my knees with pewter bands

To hold the world from within

.

A base to stand the tides.

.

Levy my hips with ecru forces

In which I might sway

Fill my waist with topaz courses

Begin the flaming cabaret!

.

A midriff that might just lie.

.

Shadow my lungs with pale cold

Sure, believe what I said.

Layered with a cerise mould

Pure of heart it read

.

A core to shield my stead.

.

Run my fingers through ivory goo

Ladened with experience through

Feel the weight of umber eyes

Pierce the sight of swirling rye

.

A nerve receiving some warmth.

.

Before I'm seized by byzantium curses

Beaten for my vibrant tincture

Hear my plea, my broken verses

See my memoirs, my bigger picture

.

A hope for real change.

.

My palette had been mixed

Vice shaken, tricked.

Standing over me black and white

Drinking poison, how's that right?

.

A miracle that you receive.

.

The fountain spills over, into sight

Ichor to illuminate another plight.

With new light, shattering through prisms,

A diverging pride blooms into rhythm

.

I will heal you.

.

Taught to be carbon gray

Hardened by pressures, such this way

Made proud into a diamond soul

See me, when I'm made whole

.

With Aurum, my skin, worth its weight in gold.
