The few who remain in my heart

Break of Dawn

Aubade of Nexilis

5am

Right before dawn cracked to blazing heat. Time happened slower then. On the roof, laying down, in contemplation, on the cooled tar shingles … I witnessed art happening above. From dark depth of nonexistent light, souls of the heavens flickered across the blanket of an Ebony night.

The break of a new Beginning.

The darkness dominated by aglow of a new day. The raven colored sky now painted in strokes of blush, violets, oranges until concealed by soft pastel blue. The days’ color entrances one lightly with the soft hint of mystery. For how is it not night and the moon exposed her face?

Beginning can never be left for Ending will pass.

The curtain call arrives without delay. No violent rumble or peaceful pastel can pause Ebony’s depth. The strokes of the sky change once more. No matter the setting; nothing gold can stay.

Harsh reality of a love climaxed

Moreover, Ebony took form in physical flesh. Human limbs; light and dark enveloped in deadly sin for quick touches released a longing for pleasure. Pure hearted was one and conspired evil was the other. Ebony was his own darkness and Ivory was her own light. Wanted and needed. Lusted and Loved. Inevitably, tangled in the sheets, an art of perfect contrast rests. The purest form of living art laid out. For depth took shelter in the pale breasts of Ivory’s virtue.

Ending is temporary

Embers of heat flow through my physical flesh. Ivory was here and the tar shingles make it known. It was not a dream but an inevitable happening of life, I have conversations with the night sky. Looking at the patterns above, maybe through Ebony’s depth I can find my way back to the comfort of Ivory’s virtues once more.

5am;
