Swords to unleash, steel to clash,
What once stood firm now crushed to ash,
Boulders size, broken bone,
What was soft now yields to stone,
Fire, fire, all the same,
What once was cold now yields to flame!
Sway and glimmer, burning bright,
What was dimmed now blazes in the night!
Battle hardened, tested, shout and cried,
What once was soft now battle tried!
Struggle and wrestle, words to trade,
What was unruly now the trick and the spade,
Stumble and fall, pick up and rise,
What once would fall now to surprise!
Triumph and victory, song and chord,
What once was dull now a polished sword!
