Asylum
Downright dirty thoughts about this zoo. Dark days & nights. Have my pills & forget the rays.
This Asylum is breaking me in two.
Somebody catch me, take my hand, take me to the promised land.
Don’t treat me like a concrete jungle clown. Don't hate me when I'm feeling down, love me! You keep me in this Asylum.
Slippery falls to hell, dragging you along to a room for us two, in this dingy place of a zoo, ragging in my head, this asylum that holds me, dear.
Is that you or is it a figment of my drug-induced imagination, I see you in my dreams at night or is it me just hallucinating. It's becoming hard to tell.
Stuck in my throat a rainbow of different colours. They bring me twice a day, in a little plastic cup, it's no wonder I'm so f&*^ed up! The only colour I have in my life, from the darkness of my mind, grind me, baby, grind me, play me a melody.
Tumbling, falling down, my tunnel vision keeps me close to you. Dancing in my head like a picture show, taking you in my arms, I'm touching you, it feels so real. These thoughts keep me as crazy as the pills do. Don’t keep me in this Asylum, let me be with you.
Loneliness swallows me whole, darkness in the halls of my mind, I'm here alone, why do this to me, why do you keep me in this Asylum.
Don’t treat me like a concrete jungle clown. Don’t hate me when I’m feeling down, love me.
You keep me in this Asylum.

The first time I picked up a book, I was wholely consumed, often making me unaware of the time that flew by, igniting my imagination. My love of books is at the very core of who I've become.
