Assumptions

A poem of frustrations

Far too often

do people assume.

They fill in the blanks

with random adjectives

not bothered to confirm just presume.

A word search of miscommunication.

A volcano of emotions erupt

from boiling speculation.

It races too far from the truth,

fueled by noxious misinformation.

It’s spiraled into chaos,

one way train in the wrong direction.

It never needed to go this far,

yet it’s a simple road to prevention.

Get the real answers and ask for truths,

don’t be afraid to need clarification.

Don’t build a fight based on fibs,

like some anxiety ridden mad libs,

when it can all be worked out through communication.
