Ask Alice

Poetry

By Kharma ScribblesPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Wonderland tries to make you mad dreaming of good times we had,

Yesterday crawls away before we close our eyes,

Cinderella's ball was a test of time,

No longer wanted to be mine after the chime chimed..

Hearts part ways and feelings change,

Something of us we could have made,

Since when do hearts so quickly fade?

Eat me, drink me, trust when I say; you don't want to be me.

Seasons changing, months skip past,

Memories suspiciously fade,

Like the Cheshire cat everyone knows your name.

Over there is Queen Hatter, should I ask if Alice can stay?

I hear she's smoking a bowl with the caterpillar today...
