I want to disappear,

Fall to pieces,

Forget everyone who ever had claimed to loved me.

I want to run away,

Far.

Fast.

Set fire to who I once was,

Watch the pieces of my life burn down with regret.

Start fresh somewhere new,

Create a life I'm proud of from the ashes that remain from the flames,

Pack a bag,

Hell.

Pack the trunk of my broken-down SUV.

Pick a few moments of a life that I'm not proud of to keep.

A book of memories.

A fragment from a life that I truly haven't lived.

I just want to run away.

Keep myself alive for another day.

Self-preservation so to speak.

Burn this life to the ground.

My new one awaits.

Till the sirens behind me catch up.
