As the world turns

Long Division

By T. Eugene WilliamsPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

My dog barks loudly as I approach my door

I open it to find that the mail lady has dropped off a massive number of packages,

I ordered a few days before.

As the world turns, I have a job to do that is take care of my dogs and my wife too.

I sit here and think about the choices I have made and the people I have met good or bad I can’t help but continue to evolve as a human.

As the rain and the storms, it brings sometimes destroy the land we use

I sit at home as this crazy world turns.

I have lost many friends and lost much communication over people constantly spewing hate about me and the ones I love.

As the world turns, I ponder sometimes what my role is in it.
