My Deepest Yearning

Arrived

So precious

Little pink face

Deep blue big eyes

Looking at me questioning, who?

My heart breaks as tears fall

All I’ve ever yearned, dreamed, desired for

My own little human, to teach and to guide

To love, to mould as I record each moment

To set to rights all the wrongs done to me

One little person to be proud to call mine

I cuddle her close in her knitted blanket

Her hair smoothly soft as I stroke

That divine baby smell so intoxicating

Her skin like porcelain china

Ill love her forever

No matter what

Sweet cherub

Baby

About the Creator

Linda Bromley

Just one of many creative outlets for me has been books! My whole life I’ve loved them and it’s so easy to make the jump to writing.

Recently I completed a poetry challenge and now, looking for more excuses to write, I’ve found myself here!
