Around the sun

In the vast expanse, burns a fiery sphere,

A celestial dance that unfolds year after year.

Around the sun, we hurtle and glide,

On a blue marble through cosmic stride.

Through constellations, uncharted and fun,

Galaxies twirl around the radiant sun.

To its silent ballet, stars bear witness in the night,

A timeless journey bathed in its light.

Orbiting in an ethereal dance, celestial and divine,

Travelling a path of invisible design,

Round the colossal sun we quietly twine,

A journey of light, breathtakingly benign.

Eight minutes it takes for sun’s warm caress to find,

Reaching Earth, sparking life of all kind.

Around our radiant star, in a cosmic bind,

In a circle unbroken by the march of time.

The sun, a fiery orb of splendid might,

In celestial playground pirouettes each day.

Its golden arms embrace the world so tight,

Dispelling shadowed doubts with its warm ray.

A cosmic journey in an infinite bed,

Unseen are its chains that tightly worn.

Laughter of light where darkness once bred,

Fascinating tango 'round till break of dawn.

Gallantly spinning in a cosmic ballet, the earth twirls round the sun,

Orchestrated by gravity's pull, an endless race run.

A fiery sphere of radiant might, casting shadows long and lean,

With arcs of light that paint our days with hues of gold and green.

In its billions of years’ dance around this burning throne so bright,

The sphere transforms from morn to dusk, in continuous day and night.

A wish upon a distant star whispers mysteries not yet won,

While we dream within the journey, ever circling—around the sun.
