Apathy

In the Midst of the Storm

By Aye CeeePublished 5 years ago • 1 min read
Emotions have a way of clouding your thinking in a way that may block their root cause. They can prevent your attempts to stop the bleeding or see the use for a gauze. I wish all of you to practice being hopeful before you encounter hopelessness.

This feeling is an unusual one

Though the damaging shot is from a usual gun

I knew the shooter but the fire wasn't friendly

So when they raised their weapon I had no reason to choose to run

And now I'm hit with this feeling I can't explain

Where my happiness is drained and reserves can't be sustained

I'm sensing that the blue's have begun

Cause I'm hearing B.B. King and wishing, I could use the Sun

And playback audio to brighten the dark spots

Discovering the ways to prevent where we've marked plots

Hoping to undue what you've spun

And we can work as a pair, but not similar to when the Ark docked

While lost in this feeling it could resemble depression

Where one false move could disassemble your best win

From that guest I've learned my lesson

And now,

It's shown to the left as a symbol pointed as less than

The lack of interest to click a picture on Pinterest

Is the motivation wasted on efforts trying to end us

In the Midst of the Storm you've forgotten we have a passenger

Whom with I have interest where with yours I can't begin to trust

So maybe this feeling I think is apathy that's grabbing me

Is more uncertainty you don't care about what is half of me

So its you I've lost interest and emotion for

Which lived subconsciously but in this very moment it's been spoken for

surreal poetry
