Anything Everything//Mini-Skirt//Alvaro

30/4/20

I don't need to be anything to anyone, just everything to everyone

Conventional attractiveness will only get you so far, but far enough

People think I'm confident, I guess

Supercomputers don't though

//

I'll wear a mini-skirt just for you

Do anything you want me to

My dress. my hospital gown

I'm a bad, bad boy so knock me down

What I would do, for someone who hits me

What I wouldn't do for someone who makes me slit my wrists

But this is not my style

You get me giddy instead

//

We closed the streets and turned out the lights and made sure the horses were well fed

We crossed the streams and held our hands and made sure we would never be sinking

Rise above your beady eyes

I wish I knew you in real life, whatever that means

Maybe its the battle of the leopard and the swan

Or those tepid lyrics from that magical song

That tune I'm scared I'll someday need

I don't remember why I tripped over you or the point I realised I was back upright

Boys will have their hearts broken when young and never recover

And I am definitely feeling like a boy right now
