A cold breeze billows through the bare trees

Yellow and orange leaves line the streets

Everyone carries bag of treats

Joy rings through the air

As a princess straightens her hair

Skeletons dance

While dogs and cats prance

Pumpkins glow from the porch

As Frankenstein is chased by a torch

The place is full of magic

And it's just so fantastic

Don't know where I am

But I found a grand slam

"Welcome," a voice calls

I turn to see a witch with a shawl

Offering a warm greeting, I ask about the town

"It's All Hallows," she replies.

"A place where we embrace the fun and spookiness.

A place where you can be anyone you want to be."

Looking out at the happy and playful werewolves, ghosts, and superheroes

I realize I've found my home

"I think I'm going to like it here,"

I say as I run my tongue across my fangs.
