Another Two Short Poems
Two Poems for the Price of One
The first poem was written while visiting a friend recently. They were going through some rough times that I couldn’t help them with. I hope they enjoyed it, and it helped their spirits. I think you all will enjoy it as well.

Do not look at this rock
And see a weathered stone
But look at how it has stood the test time
It has survived all that would destroy it
It has survived the coldest winters
And the strongest storms
When you look deep within your mind
I think you will see
This stone is not old and weathered
But it has been refined by the passage of time and the sea

This second poem is the expression of frustration with some recent life challenges.

Do not judge me by the company I keep
Most would not tread where I sleep
I strive to keep my honor clean
But at times I have been seen with those of less honor
So, please
Do not judge me for the company I am made to keep
