Another sun rise

The debts of a fantasy

By Angel CarrasquilloPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

Heavily eyelids dragged half open,

Wishing this dream never gets over.

The debts of a fantasy used as a cover.

My time is up, I’m back to the oven.

concave side up growing upwards heaven,

cornered its shape again into a rainbow.

Slowly transform, the happiness drops low.

Wrongly mislead, society’s not thriven.

Futile to keep, round and around.

overflowed dopamine whipped me with a headache

My feet getting heavier thousand of pounds

Bloody weather has been unfair.

Ace, at hopping on a cloud to surf.

The Pace is slow, I’m stuck over turf.

Still dreams rest in the air.
