Another Ode to My Study Nook

It's my sacred place

My study nook surrounded

by my arts, books, writing devices,

is one of the happiest corners of our house.

It is where I have the tools

to cultivate my brain,

hone the conscience,

purge society's clutter,

understand myself better,

and share my knowledge

with the world.

Kids are not allowed

to misplace things there.

Only people I honor

are allowed to sit in my chair,

it is my shrine, after all,

I feel sacred, in this place.

I am not lying,

when I go somewhere,

away from this place,

even for a day,

I miss it,

long to come back soon.

I would not mind dying,

while working here,

surrounded my precious belongings.
